Once the driver arrived he was very nice and professional but the almost 1h wait at the airport upon arrival was outrageous. So they got dropped off first and then me. It ended up being shared with another family who had also been waiting forever and who in fact had arrived before me. I’m the end they got me to the hotel as I kept pushing but it wasn’t the private transfer I’d booked and paid for. I kept contacting them via WhatsApp as the airport rep was running around trying to accommodate all the unhappy clients. After an 11h long haul flight that’s the last thing you want to hear. A rep tienes up to find me minutes later but I was then told that they don’t have enough cars and that I have to wait. However, when I arrived at Cancun airport there was no Etransfers there so I had to contact them via WhatsApp. I booked a return trip from Cancun airport to a hotel in the a Cancún area which was only 10min away from the airport so it should have been a quick ride. Definitely a great shuttle service company and one I will only use from now on and I am picky. They also sent a confirmation email and text to put me at ease of the change. I asked if they could pick us up at 7:15am instead of 6:40am and they gladly obliged so we were not stuck at the airport longer than needed. For our return to the airport they sent the prototypical 3hrs before exact take off time to pickup and take you to the airport. The other two trips they were on time and prompt to respond.

They offered free bottle water and bottle Beer. They sprayed down all of our bags and gave everyone hand sanitizer and had a big bottle in the car as well. When we met our guy at the airport we didn’t have to wait long at all and he walked us to our private shuttle/suburban and driver. They constantly communicated with me via text and email advising where to meet and what time, who to look for, what to watch out for, etc.
There is a reason for that! I utilized them online and booked from the airport to a hotel since we were arriving late Christmas night and I used Marriott points and had also booked from that hotel to Now Resorts and back to the airport after our stay. I did some research and was shocked to see eTransfers having a 5 star rating with thousands of reviews. I have been to Mexico several times and have used a variety of shuttle services from AMStar to whomever most resorts use as preferred shuttle services. I booked a last minute trip for my family to Cancun a couple of days before Christmas and with not much time to spare researched the shuttle services.
